2EA is an energy management consultancy which provides advice and guidance on energy legislation and compliance to businesses.
In recent years, thanks to a combination of moving towards net zero targets and the introduction of increasingly complex energy legislation, energy management has become progressively more challenging for businesses to navigate.
2EA has been established for 13 years and has more than 25 years of experience in the energy management industry and so, is able to support clients in ensuring that their energy management requirements are being dealt with competently and efficiently whilst ensuring compliance at all times.
2EA felt it was spending an inordinate amount of time manually inputting data using outdated spreadsheets to collate customer records as a means of trying to generate new business. The organisation was aware that not only was this system taking up far too much time, it also wasn’t an efficient way of collecting information or generating sales leads.
2EA commissioned Cloud Enterprise to work on delivering a bespoke, automated system that ensured robust data protection and at the same time, saved valuable time and maximised the amount of leads able to be generated by 2EA’s marketing company from the data.
Cloud Enterprise presented an outline of the proposed, specialised CRM system to 2EA and once everyone was happy with it, they began building the database from scratch. Cloud then delivered the finished product and 2EA was given time to undertake UAT (user acceptance testing) to test the software in the ‘real world’. 2EA suggested some improvements which Cloud happily integrated into the software, before both parties were satisfied and it was finally signed off.
The specialist CRM software developed by Cloud meant that the bulk of 2EA’s data reporting was able to be performed automatically with minimal manual input. This data could then be exported and sent to 2EA’s marketing company to be converted into sales leads.
2EA now has an efficient and streamlined system that saves time and generates revenue quickly and efficiently. Under the previous manual system, the business was able to create between 50-80 sales emails every few days, whereas using the new specialist CRM database, up to 1,000 emails can be automatically generated and sent on to be converted into sales leads. Once the software is fully operational, 2EA’s target is to increase its market share by a few percentage points, which would increase revenue by around 18-20%!
